Life-Easter 2014

Well, after listening to conference there are several things that I would like to do.  One of those  is family history.  Grandma was almost one of God's messengers whenever she dropped off one of those binders with all of the family history to me whenever I was in college.  That was a neat experience when I started researching it.  Then once again, Grandma gave me a list of things to copy that had a list of records from Ancestry.com, many of which have not been put into familytree.  I am grateful for Grandma for doing that.  I am also grateful that come mid-2014 all members will receive a free subscription to Ancestry.org.  That will really hasten the work.  I have paid for it years before and it has several censuses and other search capabilities that we simply did not have.  The church must be paying quite a handsome fee but it will be worth it.  It will truly hasten the work not only in the US but in all of the world.

I am glad Mom and Dad are coming down for Easter.  I enjoy family.  As much as I acknowledge that in many ways our family grew up disjointed, the Lord has helped strengthen our family.   That is entirely due to the covenants and faithfulness we have made before the Lord.
